Happy’s Place season 3 arrives on NBC on October 23 at 8pm ET, bringing the tavern back into focus with new challenges and familiar faces. The season centers on the group’s efforts to run the business successfully, while personal lives and relationships add complications.
What to Expect in Season 3
Bobbie and Emmett, played by Reba McEntire and Rex Linn, are newly single as the season begins. Their friendship gets tested by a new customer named JB, played by James Denton. Meanwhile, Bobbie may make decisions that risk the group’s dynamics, suggesting tension ahead for the tavern crew.
Family drama escalates with the return of two key characters. Jane Lynch is back as Val, Gabby’s troublesome mother, and Gabby (Melissa Peterman) must be patient with her. Justina Machado also returns as Maritza, Isabella’s mother, adding another layer to the family mix.
The first episode, titled “Office/Space,” focuses on Isabella’s new work area. Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo, may dislike being pushed from the action. The second episode, “Skeletons in the Closet,” introduces long-lost secrets that threaten Bobbie and Isabella’s sisterly relationship.
