Jaguars Lose Left Tackle Anton Harrison to Torn ACL for Rest of 2026
The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost their left tackle for the remainder of the season. An Anton Harrison injury suffered in London has been confirmed as a torn ACL, the team announced after placing him on injured reserve. Harrison will miss the rest of the 2026 campaign.
How the injury happened

Harrison went down on Oct. 11 during Jacksonville’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. While blocking on the turf, he planted his right leg and twisted the knee as he spun. He was carted to the locker room and did not return.
The Jaguars were overseas at the time, and Harrison waited until the team returned before undergoing further evaluation. On Wednesday, arthroscopic surgery revealed the torn ligament. The procedure had been intended to determine the extent of the damage, and it confirmed the worst-case outcome.
Roster move and replacement
Jacksonville placed Harrison on injured reserve following the diagnosis. Walker Little is expected to take over at left tackle for the rest of the season.
Little is a familiar name in Jacksonville. He has started 40 games over six seasons with the Jaguars, serving as a longtime backup with starting experience. He now steps into a full-time role on the blind side.
Harrison's background and role
Harrison, a former Oklahoma standout, was drafted 27th overall in 2023. He has started 53 games for the Jaguars across his career. This season, he moved from right tackle to left tackle in an effort to improve Jacksonville’s run game.
The switch appears to have had some effect. The Jaguars’ run game ranks 14th in the NFL this season, up from 20th in 2025. Harrison’s absence will test the depth of that improvement.
He is the first Jaguars starter to suffer a season-ending injury in 2026. Jacksonville sits at 4-2, and the loss of its left tackle comes at a significant point in the schedule.
What's next
Little is expected to start every remaining game, though the team has not confirmed whether he will take every snap. Harrison’s exact recovery timeline beyond the current season remains unclear, as does the severity of any additional damage in the knee. The Jaguars have not announced other roster moves related to the injury.
The team will move forward with Little protecting the quarterback’s blind side as it tries to maintain its improved ground attack. For Harrison, the focus shifts to rehabilitation after a promising start to his third season.
